We are in existence since 2012 and to celebrate our 10 years we cycled from Mizen Head to Malin Head over 5 days which commenced on September 1st. That’s a distance of over nearly 700 kms and covers the full length of Ireland! 11 counties were covered from North to South with fantastic weather as the team only had one day of rain.
The team are: Ambrose Dunne, Aidan Keegan, Adrian Tiernan, Bhrian Moore, Declan O’Donoghue, Kieran Sheerin, Michael O’Dwyer, Derek Smyth, Liam Patel, Mark O’Connor, Rob Boughton, Denise Finn, Noeleen Fallon, Gerald & Marie Griffin, ably assisted by our driver for the duration, Eoin Peacock.
On our journey we raised funds for Clann Mor – a County Meath based charity whose objective is to enable people with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful lives of their choosing in their local communities, and delivered this objective in consultation with them, their families and the local community working with all the stakeholders.
We have a go fund me page set up for anyone wishing to support our cause and any donation will help make an impact.
