A 100km fundraising cycle across Dublin was done by Bewley’s employees to get ready for the 30th anniversary of the Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning Social for Hospice.

A group of seven cyclists led by ason Doyle, Managing Director of Bewley’s Ireland & UK took a trek on 14 September to raise awareness for hospice and to promote the coffee morning social event which took place on 22 September.

Along their route they visited St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services Harold’s Cross and St Francis Hospice, Raheny before finishing at Bewley’s HQ in Northern Cross.

The Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning Social for Hospice has raised over €41.5 million since it began in 1992.

“Bewley’s is delighted to support this wonderful cause by completing a 100km cycle across Dublin,” said Jason Doyle, Managing Director at Bewley’s Ireland and UK.

“This year marks 30 years since Bewley’s began its fundraising efforts for hospices nationwide and we hope to maintain this special relationship, and to continue raising vital funds for hospice, for many more years to come,” Doyle continued.

Together for Hospice, The National Hospice Movement, represents 26 Hospice and specialist palliative home care providers supporting patients and their families nationwide.
