New bus stop facilities have finished construction in Navan by Meath County Council which were funded by the National Transport Authority. The new works include 53 wheelchair accessible bus stops and information display units.
These new bus stop services are operated by Bus Eireann and are located on the N1 and N2
bus routes. They are part of a network that enables advantageous travel across Navan on
the N1 and N2. The thirteen bus stops existing in Navan have received minor refurbishment
work.
The N1 and N2 services operate every day providing a reliable form of transport
throughout Navan and in years to come they will connect with Kennedy Road Bus Facility
and supply interchange to Trim, Kells, Drogheda, Dublin and Dublin Airport.
These new bus stops make Navan more attractive and convenient in terms of a place
to stay and live in its key stage of development. These bus stops will provide new ways to
get to work, school, college, and access other amenities.
